This is me juggling...

And this is what happens when I juggle many things, as I am trying to do right now...

*sigh*

My first instinct of course is to shut out everything and everyone, handle up and get things done. The issue is of course, this often takes a bit of time and by the time I have resurfaced from everything... it's a couple months later. Bah.

So instead... I sleep. I recognize that this is not a healthy nor proactive way of dealing with ones problems. But it helps that's a lie. And I enjoy it that's another lie. I am well aware that I need to get my life in order and blah blah blah all manner of other quarter life crisis mantra, et all. But can't I hire a life coach or some shit? Here's the areas that I need improvement in:

1. finances
2. family
3. friendships
4. love life
5. career goals

... and by "improvement" I mean I want someone to come fix it while I sleep.

What?!?!

I like sleep.

And the Will and Grace DVDs currently occupying the dvd player.

Can someone send a pizza to the crib?

Friend! Two days ago I went home to make something that included eggs - and the refrigerator had frozen my eggs. Do you know how pissed I was. But not pissed enough to buy a new fridge.

Hah.

I ordered a pizza instead.

I can order you one, too. Just have them call me, I'll give them the credit card numbers!!!

*hugs*

(Oh, and when you find your life coach, can you send her my way when you're through?)

Okay let's get started with finances! We are your life coach. We all have been through or going through the same things...I mean don't post your creditors or anything like that...but I'm sure someone passing through can help!

Girl you sound like me.. I was having a quarter-life crisis behind this same list!

You know what the worst part is, they now deliver pasta too!!

Sorry, that probably didn't help.

@Rashan hahaha somehow I knew you would feel me

@Chris I do like sleeping. I don't like sleeping as a way to avoid my problems. Keep up! lol

@mia if only all life's ills could be solved by calling Papa Johns, lol.

@bytch apparently this list is quite the source of anxiety for most people my age. Surely we can all agree we need a quarter life crisis rehab program (other than drinking which is what I have been doing)

@V you do realize of course that now the pizza and pasta I am gonna order for dinner is your fault, yes? lol

I could use a life coach for all of that except my finances...through trial and error I've learned that's the ONE thing I had to work on pronto, so I'm good in that area.

I luv the idea of a life coach about as much as I love the idea of a manservant for me. I need to seriously start looking for one! lol

I'm so quarter life now too!!! And I've been sleeping alot...and telling myself that sleeping means depression...it's so bad my dad is actually calling me with pep talks and Caribbeans don't do that!!!

We will be here for you La!!!! Just sleep, get auto pay on your bills, and everything else will fall into place...fingers crossed!

This sounds like me a little bit! When there is a problem, besides pray, I head straight for that bed. I slept until 11 last night and refused to cook. It was too damn late to order a pizza.

Love your writing, btw. Feels like I'm there!

If I go fix up your life, and you going to come fix mine and let me hold 900.99???

well at least you sleep when you're troubled. some people are emotional eaters and that's not healthy at all.

who knows what answers may come to you while asleep, i think going to the land of nod is a cure-all!

I hear ya La. Life breeds stress and sadly stress just makes me anxious.

I feel ya on sleep, I used to sleep to avoid altercations.

As for life coaches find a friend whose an expert in each area, pool their advice, its cheaper. Real life coaches apparently cost an arm and a long, must be that certification.

So how much does this life coach thingy pay? Cause there are only two women currently on this planet who get things done for free!

At The Seaside

(1)

When I was down beside the sea

A wooden spade they gave to me

To dig the sandy shore.

(2)

The holes were empty like a cup

In every hole the sea camp up,

Till it could come no more.
